ORDINANCE NO. NS-241 DECLARING TEE ANNEXATION OF THAT <br />CERTAIN TEB~ITORY DESIGNAT~ "SANTIAGO C~K ANNEXs <br /> <br /> I~EA~, the City Council of the City of Sm taAna did on <br />January 21, 1957, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territox-y by Resolution No. 57-15. which said Resolution was regularly <br /> <br />published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due <br /> <br />notice of public hearing to be held on April 1, 1957; and <br /> <br /> WMI~EA~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests <br />to said proposed annexation; <br /> <br />NON, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />0RDAINAB FOLLOW3: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no <br /> <br />protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that <br /> <br />due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said <br /> <br />territ0rywas wholly unimhabited at the time the petition for annex- <br /> <br />ation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana, CAlifornia; <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of <br /> <br />Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of Santiago <br />Avenue (60 feet wide) with the southeasterly line of the <br />former right of way for the Pacific Electric Railway (60 feet <br />wide~ said point of intersection being on a curve, concave <br />northwesterly, having a radius of 2113.53 feet, said point <br />of besinning being the northeast corner of the ~est of S~tiago <br />Annex", -~nexed to the City of Santa Arm, November 7, 1955 by <br />Ordinance NB-139, running thence Northeasterly along said <br />Southeasterly line of the fomner right of way for the Pacific <br />Electric Railway to its intersection with the easterly line <br />of said Sautiago Avenue; thence continuing northeasterly along <br />said curve and the southeasterly line of said former right of <br />way for the Pacific EleCtric Railws~. through a central angle <br />of 19° 53' 59= an arc distance of 734.06 feet to the inter- <br />section with the west line of that certain parcel of land <br />leased to the County of Orange recorded in Book 853, Page <br />450, Official Records of Orange County, California, aradiA <br />from said point bears north 36° 23' 16" west; thence contin- <br />uing northeasterly along said southeasterly line of said former <br /> <br /> <br />
