ORDINANCE NO. NS-248 Ai~NDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SA~ITA ~A~.A I~UNICIPAL. CODE CREATING ,CHANGES IN DIS~Tu RICT BOUi~_~AEIES, At~D ANENDING S~ET NO. 51 0F TH~ 1 DISTRICTING ~AP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION ~EREAS, the Planning Commission o f Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with ~endment Appli- cation No. 219 for Change of District Classification, and recommended to the City Council the changes requested with the modification of the addition of -PK requirements thereto; and ~E~EREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the uses under the new classifications will not be det- rimental to the surrounding property; NOW, T~TEREFORE, THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SA~NTA ANA DOES 0HDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: All of Lot "A" of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 2, Page 618 of Miscellanesus Records of Los Angeles County, California. ?~xcepting therefrom the following: Beginning at the point of intersection of Easterly line of said Lot "A" with the Southerly line of First Street, and running thence South 89° 0~7' 30" West along said Souti,.~rl~~ line of ~"~ ~o~ Street 363.1~ feet; thence South 89° ll' 20" West along said Southerly line of First Street, 1~.82 feet; .thence South 0° 14, ~0" East parallel with the Easte.rly lmne .of said Lot"A" 1240.? feet to the Northerly l~ne of ~akn Street; thence North 89° 0~' 30" East along said Northerly line of I'~ain Street, 379 feet to the Easterly line of said Lot "A"; ¥ 0° 14' Wes along said Easterly line thence ~.orth 1240.~2 feet to the point of beginuing, and the Southerly half of First Street adjoining on the North and on the Northerly half of i'~ain Street adjoining on the South, be reclassified from the R-1 District to R-3-PK District smd that Sheet No. ~l of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha 2~unicipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within l~ days after its adoption. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
