~A~c~ l~Oo NS-266 AN 0RDXNA~K~ ADOPTING '£~ ANN~AL BODGET FOE T~E FISCAL ~ C~G ~ 1, 1957, ~ F~G ~ ~TATXONS OF ~~ ~ '~ ~ ~S ~ ~ ~C~ONS~ ~EREA~, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to this Council a pro- posed budget of expenditure for the fiscal year commencing July 1~ i957~ pura~u~ut to the provisions of ~ection 605 of the City 0barter; mud W~E~EAS, in p~rsz~nce to Section 606 of 'the City Ct~ezter, a public hmarir~g was held upon the said proposed budget of expenditures after notic~ of much public hearing had been published in th~ official city newspaper, in the ~m~uner pre~cribed in maid Section 606 of the City Charter. ~ection 1. The proposed budget of expenditure duly submitted smd co~sidered aa hereinbefore state~, together with a~Y supplemental revisions and ~ndments thereto, is hereby approved, adopted, and fixed ~ the a~u~ual budget of the City of Santa Aua for the fiscal year comm~eing ~uly 1, 1957~ ~u3d ending ~ue ~0, 19~8, in the amounts and for the funds, purposes~ functionS, d~:~r~ents, and ~ctivities as hereinafter set forth. Said adopted budget, including said suppiemenl~l revision~ and az~ndments~ together with a copy of this appropriation ordinance, sh~l.l be duly authenticated by the ~erk of the Council amd the same sh~Jl be placed ~ the official files of the office of the Clerk of the Councii.
