ORDINANCE NO. NS-276 ESTABLISHING PRIMA FACIE <br />SPEED LIMITS ON EAST FIRST STREET AND ON DYER ROAD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an engineering and traffic investigation of vehicular <br />traffic on East First Street and upon Dyer Road, particularly in those <br />portions of said streets hereinbelow set out, indicate that the prima <br />facie speed limit established by t~e Vehicle Code of California should <br />be altered and established for said areas under the authorization con- <br />tained in Section 511.3 of said Vehicle Code, to provide for orderly, <br />expeditious and safe traffic movement in said areas; <br /> <br /> NOW, T~EREF0~E, THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 3280 of ~e Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended by adding two new paragraphs at the end thereof, to <br />be designated (n) and (o),immediately following Paragraph (m), in words <br />and figures as follows: <br /> <br /> "(n) No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than <br /> 35 miles per hour on East First Street between McClay Street and <br /> the Santa Ana Freeway. <br /> <br /> "(o) No person shall drive a ve~icle at a speed greater than <br /> 35 miles per hour on Dyer Rcad between Main Street and the South- <br /> ern Pacific Railroad Tracks." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
