OPd)INANCE N0. NS-2§6 AMENDING SECTION <br />UNIFORM BUILDING CODE <br /> <br />33O2 OF THE <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 3302 of the Uniform Building Code, <br />1955 edition, adopted by Ordinance NS-147, is hereby amended to <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Sec. 3302. (a) Number of Persona. The number of per- <br />sons permitted in any building or portion thereof shall not <br />exceed those set forth in Table No. 33-A, except that where <br />addition~ exit facilities areprovided the occupaucy load <br />may be increased in accordance with Section 3302 (b) and (c). <br /> <br /> (b) Number of Exits. Buildings, or portions thereof, <br />having an occupant load of more tha~ 50 shall have not ~ss <br />than two exits. <br /> Buildings, or portions thereof, having an occupant load <br />of 500 to 999 shall have not less thau three exits. <br /> Buildings, or portions thereof, having an occupant load <br />of 1000 or more shall have not less than four exits. <br /> Basements or cellars used for other than service of the <br />building, shall have not less th~ two exits." <br /> <br />Secti°n 2.
