ORDINANCE NO. NS-287 REDUCING THE PRIMA FACIE SPEED <br />LIMIT 0N~PORTION~ FAIRVIEW AVENUE EAST OF DOUGLAS <br />STREET AND ON PORTION OF SEVENTEENTH STREET EAST OF <br />GRAND AVENUE <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That after an engineering and traffic survey and <br /> <br />Council determination, and under the authority contaL~ed in Se0tion <br /> <br />511.3 (b) of the Vehicle Code of~the State of California, Subsections <br /> <br />(h) and (1) of Section 3280 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code are amended <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "(h) No person shall drive ~a vehicle on East Seventeenth <br />Street at a speed greater than 45 miles per hour between the <br />Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad tracks, which lie along <br />the easterly side of Lincoln Avenue, and the west property line <br />of Wright Street, as it exists north of Seventeenth Street, <br />nor at a speed greater than 35 miles per hour between said <br />Atchison, Topeka a~d Santa Fe r~ lroad tr~cks and Poinsettia <br />Street. <br /> <br /> "(1) No person shall d~ive a vehicle at a speed greater than <br />35 miles an hour on Fai~view Avenue between Bristol Street and <br />Center Street". <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
