ORDINANCE NO. NS-288 A~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL C0-~CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUND- ARIES, AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 52 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment ARpll- cation No. 235 for Change of District Classification, and recommended to the City Council the changes requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the followim~ amend- ment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detri- mental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: That portion of the West half of Section 25, Township 5 South, Range l0 Wes$ S.B.B. & M., described as follows: Beginning at that Northwest comer of Tract No. 2461, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 86, pages 18 and 19 of Miscellaneous M~ps, records of Orange County, California; thence South 0° 38' 16" West 1025.00 feet along the West- erly line of said Tract No. 2461 and its Southe~ y pro- longation to a line that is parallel with md distan~Southerly 30.00 feet measured at right angles from the Southerly line of said Tract No. 2461; thence North 86° 36' 51" West 520.10 feet to the Southeast corner of land described in Deed to Eugene B. Sive, M. D., and others, recorded August 20th, 1956 in Book 3617, Page 483 of Official Records; thence North 0° 38' 16" East 1000.00 feet along the Easterly line of said land of Eugene B. Sive, M. D. and the Northerly prolongation thereof to the Westerly prolongation of the center line of Central Avenue as shown on a Map of said Tract No. 2461; thence South 89° 22' 10" East 519.50 feet to the point of beginning, be reclassified from the R-1 and 'C-2 Districts to the R-3 District, and that Sheet No. 52 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the S~ta Ana Municipal Co~e be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by t he City Council of the City of Santa Ana
