ORDINANCE NO. NS-289 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNCIPAL"CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES, AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 13 OF THE DIST- HtCTING MAP TO SHOW %~{E RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Appli- cation No. 233 for Change of District Classification, and recommended to the City Council the chm~ges requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of md regularly held a public hearing on s~d application and does n~ find that public necessity, convenience au d general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detriment~ to the Surrounding property; NOW, THEREFOP~E, ~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: That portion of the Resubdivision of Shafer Tract, as shown on z map thereof recorded in Book ~, Page 44, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, lying North of Tract No. 511, as shown on amap thereof recorded in Book 18, Page 29, Mis- cellaneous Maps, ~®cords of Orange County, and Tract No. 512, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 19, Page 16, Mis- cellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County; EXCEPTING the East 125 feet thereof. ALSO EXCEPTING thatportion conveyed to the State of California by deeds of record, be reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2-PKDistrict, and that Sheet No. 13 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Sauta Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
