ORDINANCE NO. N$-294 AMENDING ARTICLE IX 0F THE SANTA <br />A_WA MUNICIPAL CODE' CREATING CH~&NGES IN DISTRICT BOUND- <br />ARIES, AND AMENDING SHEET N0. 1I OF THE DISTRICTING <br />~AP TO SHOW THE HECLASSIFICATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice <br /> of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Appli- <br /> cation No. 237 for Change of District Classification, and recommended <br /> to the City Council the changes requested; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held <br />a public hearing on said application and does now find that public <br />necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following <br />amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be <br />detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDA.TN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Blocks A and B of Menges and Crooks Subdivision, as <br /> shown on a map recorded in Book i at Page 98 of Mis- <br /> cellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, Califo~ia, <br /> <br /> EXCEPTING THEREFROM the North lll feet, <br /> <br />.be reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-3 District, and that <br />Sheet No. ll of the Districting ~Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana <br /> <br />Municipal Code be amended to sh~ <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
