ORDINANCE NO. A~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE'" CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUND- ARIES, AND ADDING SHEET NO. 71 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW T~E RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given no~ ice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment No. 24o initiated by said Cormmission for change of District Classification, and recommended to the City Council the change herein set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said p~oposal and does no~ find that public nec- essity, convenience and general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the uses under the new classification will not be det- rimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEHEFORE, ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: A portion of Lot 2 of the Sepulveda Tract, in the Rancho de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 31, Page 197 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, described as follows: Begin.ning at a point on the center line of Sulliva~ Street, 550.2b feet south of the Northwest corner of the tract con- veyed by H. H. Hoper to C. G. Linington and others by deed dated December 9, 1876, recorded in Book 52, Page 533 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, also being the North- wast corner of Lot 3, Sa~ ta Ana Acres, as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous'Map, Book 5, Page 8, Records of Orange County, California; thence South 89° 48' 30" West 1263.90 fee~; thence due South 414.66 feet; thence North 89° 48' 30" East 1263.90 feet; thence due North. 414.66 feet among said center line of Sullivan Street to the point of beginning, be reclassified from the R-1 District to R-3 District and that new Sheet ~o. 71 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Sauta Ana Municipal Code be added to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days f~om and after the date of its adoption.
