ORDINANCE NO. NS-313 DECLARING THE AI~NEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN T~RRITORY DESIGNATED "SEVEN'~',:~NTH AND TUSTIN S. E. ANNEX" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on February 3, 1958, initiate proceedings for and declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by adopting Resolution No. 58-34, which said Resolution was regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on March 17, 1958; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hea~ing was given; that said terri- tory was uninhabited at the time ~aid Resolution No. 58-34 was adopted; that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the point of intersection of a line parallel with and 25.00 feet northerly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Seventeenth Street with the northerly extension of the East line of Tustin (50.00 feet wide on the East side, as Tustin Avenue exists South of Seventeenth), said point of intersection being a point in the City boundary of the City of Sm~ta Ana, California; a~d running thence East al cng said par- allel line to its intersection with the northerly extension of the East line of the V~est half of Lot No. 5 of the Felipe Yorba Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, Page 206, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, Cal ifo~nia; thence southerly al cng said East line and its northerly exten- sion of the West half of Lot No. 5 to the South line of said Lot No. 5, thence westerly along said South lir~ of Lot No. 5 to said East line of Tustin Avenue, ~ud to said City boundary; thenDe northerly along said East line of Tustin Avenue a~ d its northerly extension, and al cng said City boundary to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa Aha, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
