ORDI~ANCE NO. NS-315 DECLARING THE Ai~t~EXATION OF THAT <br />CEHTAIN TERRIT R~-~ESIGNATED "HUNTZ!NGER AI~D H~P~BOR <br />N. E. ANNEX" <br /> <br />WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Smta Aha did on <br /> <br />February 3, 1958 initiate proceedings for and declare its intention <br /> <br />to annex certain uninhabited territory by adopting Resolution No. <br /> <br />58-36, which said Resolution was regularly published as required by <br /> <br />law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to <br /> <br />be held on March 17, 1958; and <br /> <br />WHEREA~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests <br /> <br />to said proposed annexation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'i~E CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOW~: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no <br /> <br />protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due <br /> <br />notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory <br /> <br />was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 58-36 was adopted; <br /> <br />that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the <br /> <br />City existing at the time of this annexation. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of <br /> <br />Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />That portion of the 4576.25 acre parcel of land allotted to <br />James ~cFadden in the partition of the R~ cbc Smtiago de Santa <br />Ana, recorded in Book B of Jud~nents of the 17th Judicial Dist- <br />rict Court of California and a portio~ of Lot 3 of the Williams <br />Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 30, Page 14, ~iscell- <br />aneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the North. right-of-waY line of Hunt~nger <br />Aven~e,40.00 feet wide, sai~ poznt being distant North 88° 37' <br />00'~ East 1262.80 feet from the intersection of said North line <br />with the center line of Harbor Boulevard, 80.00 feet wide, as <br />described in deed recorded March %, 1930, in Book 358 at Page <br />424 of official Records, Records of Orange County, California; <br />running thence ~orth 1© 19' 45" West, along a line parallel with <br />and dist~t Easterly 1262.80 feet from sa~d center line of Harbor <br />Boulevard, a distance of 1272.83 feet; thence South 88° 37' 00" <br />West, along a line parallel with and distant Northerly 1292.83 <br />feet from the center line of Huntztnger Avenue, a distance of <br />236.36 feet, more or less, to a point on the East line of Lot 3 <br />of the Williams Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in <br />Book 30 at Page 14 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, <br />California; thence Southerly, along said East line of said Lot <br />3, also being present boundary line of the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br /> <br />
