ORDINANOE NO. NS-330 AMENDIRt~ ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO CH'ANGE TEE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY AND TO ADOPT SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 25-5-10 <br /> <br />WHEEEAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br /> <br />held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Application No. <br /> <br />248 and has recommended to the City Council the reclassification of <br /> <br />p~operty situated on the West side of South Main Street between Delhi <br /> <br />Road and the Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held <br /> <br />a public hearing on said application, and does nowfind that public <br /> <br />necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amend- <br /> <br />merit and that the uses under the new classification will not be detri- <br /> <br />mental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~tE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />That portion of the northeast quarter of Section Twenty-five, <br />Township five south, Range ten west, San Ber~ardino Base and <br />M~ridian, described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the northeast corner of said Section twenty-five; <br />thence south O° 39' 45" west alon~ the east llne of said <br />section, a distance of 475.00 feet; t hence north 89° 20' 15" <br />West 322 feet; thence south 0° 39' 45" west 723.75 feet to a <br />point; thence south 89° 20, 15't east 322 feet to the east line <br />of said section; thence south 0° 39' ~5" west along the east <br />line of said section 385.99 feet more or less to the north- <br />westerly line of that certain strip of land 80.00 feet in <br />width, as described in deed to H. E. Huntington, Trustee, <br />recorded June 7th, 1909, in Book 174, page 253 of Deeds; thence <br />south 60° 53' 30'' west 11~0.54 feet along said northwesterly <br />line to the westerly line of land described as Parcel I in <br />deed to L. A. McCain, recorded F~bruary 26th, 1941, in Book <br />lO81, page 320 of Official Records; thence north 0° 39' ~5" <br />eas~ 2150.50 feet to the north line Sf said section; thence <br />south 89° 22' lO" ~ast 990.00 feet to the point of beginning~ <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified as follows: Those portions of said property <br /> <br />lying within the east 322 feet thereof measured from the center line of <br /> <br />Main Street and within the north 242 feet thereof measured from the <br /> <br />center line of Delhi Road frGn R-1 District to the C-1 District; the <br /> <br />remainde~ of said property from the R-1 District to the M-1 District, <br /> <br />and that new Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby adopted and es- <br /> <br />tablished to show the classification of other property in said section, <br /> <br /> <br />
