ORDINANCE NO. NS-3 43 AMENDING SECTION NO. 8441.4 <br />OF SANTA ANA NIOIPAL C00E <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF 5HE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended by <br /> <br />amending Section 8;~;!1.4 to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 8441.4. Same. Exceptions. <br /> <br /> The provisions of Section 8;~4! shall not apply to any sign <br />or sign structure constructed, painted or maintained on a <br />building on which the advertising is limited to: <br />(a) The name of the building whereon the sign is located. <br />(b) The name of the person, firm or corporation occupying <br />the building and the type of business conducted by such person, <br />firm or corporation. <br />(c) The name of the product manufactured in the building. <br />(d) Advertising which is strictly incidental and subordinate <br />to ~he lawful use of the premises on which it is located, in- <br />cluding signs advertising services rendered or goods sold in <br />the building, but no such advertising or signs shall exceed <br />forty square feet in area. <br /> (e) No exception shall be constm ed as permitting any siva <br />for which any considerati~ is paid or given to the owner or <br />occupant of the building or prenises to permit its location <br />or maintenance." <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
