ORDINANCE NO. NS-368 AS~DING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANk <br />NUNICIPAL CODE TO C~w~NGE DISTP~[CT CLASSIFICATION ON APPLI- <br />CATION NO. 266 AND TO A~END ~SECTIONAL DISTRICT N~P 22-~-10 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br /> <br />held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Application No, <br />266, filed by Louis Struikman, and recon~ended to the City Council <br /> <br />the reclassification of property lying approximately 450 feet west <br />of the center line of Suiivau Street with frontage of 800 feet on <br />the South side of Edinger Street and a depth of approximately 420 <br /> <br />feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice and regularly held <br /> <br />a public hearing on said amendment and does now find that public <br /> <br />necessity, convenience ~nd general welfare require the following <br /> <br />amendment, aud that the uses under the new classification will not <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> CODNCI~ <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY/OF ~{L CITY OF S~TA AltA DOES ORDAIN <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />California, described as: <br /> <br />The northerly ten acres of the following described p~operty: <br />That portion of Lots l, 2 and 3 of Tract No. 1024, as shown <br />on a map thereof recorded in Book 33, page 33, Niscellaneous <br />Naps, records of said Orange County, and that portion of the <br />East half of Section 2 2, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, <br />SBB&N, particularly described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point 25.94 feet North 15° 30' East of the <br />Northeast corner of said Lot l, said point also being the <br />intersection of the center line of Edinger Street with the <br />agreed boundary line between the property of Santa Ana Gardens, <br />Inc. and D. H. Dunkin, as described in the agreement recorded <br />February 6, 1924 in book 505, page 376 of Deeds, records of <br />said Orange County; running thence North 89° 30' East 552.00 <br />feet along the center line of Edinger Street to an old stake <br />at the Northwest corner of Tract No. 506, as shown on a map <br />thereof recorded in book 17, pages 26 and 27, of Niscellan- <br />eous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence South 15© <br />17' West 1330.82 feet to the Southwest corner of said Tract <br />No. 506; thence North 89° 07' East 391.24 feet to the Northeast <br />corner of Lot 2 of Tract No. 1024, as shown on a map thereof <br />recorded in book 33, page 33, Niscellaneous Naps, Records of <br />said Orange County; thence South 15o 05' lC" West 1179.97 feet <br />along the East line of said Lot 2 to the Northwest corner of <br />Lot 23, Block I of Tract No. 507, as shown on a map thereof <br />recorded in book 20, pages ll and 12 of Miscellaneous Naps, <br />records of said Orange County; thence South 89o 07' West <br />14.87 feet; thence North 0° qO' West q~.hq feet; thence South <br />89 30 West lllO.00 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 18 <br />of said Block I of Tract No. 507; said point also being the <br />Southwest corner of said Lot 2 of Tract No. 1024; thence South <br /> <br /> <br />
