ORDINA~CE NO. NS-375 DECLARING THE A~VNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITOR-~SIGNATED "DELHI AND GREENVILLE S. W. ANNEXm WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, on March 16, 1959, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 59-62, which said Resolution was regu- larly published as required by law, and gave due notice of a public hearing to be held May 4th, 1959, which said hearing was regularly held; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing it ands there was no pro- test to the annexation of the territo~yherein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearhg was given; that said terri- tory was uninhabited at the time Resolution No. 59-62 was adopted initiating this lr ocedure; t~at said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana and that said territory shall~not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. SECTION 2. That all of the territory sit~stcd iL the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Delhi Road with the northerly extension of the west line of Old Newport Road, 60.00 feet wide, said point of beginning be- ing an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California, and also being the northeast co~ner of Lot 3 in Tract No. 1013 recorded in Book 33, page 36, Miscellan- eous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; ~nd running thence South 87© 42' 15" West along said City boundary and along the north line of said Lot 3, 1,085.27 feet to an angle point ~n said City boundary; thence South 1© 00' 15" East 1,000.2~ feet to a line parallel with and 1,000.00 feet southerly, measured at right ~ugles fro~ said center line of Delhi Road; thence North 87© 42' 15" Ea~j~ 1,14 .43 feet along said parallel line ~ d its extension to the east line of 01d Newport Road, 60.00 feet wide; thence North 1© 00' 45" West along said East line of 01d Newport Road and its northerly extension 1,020.26 feet to said City boundary of the City of Santa Ana; thence westerly along said City boundary 50.00 feet more or less to an angle point in said City boundary; thence southerly along said City boundary ~0.00 feet more or less to the point of beginning be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
