Bk 9 Pg 342 ORDINANCE NO. NS-3§5 A~DING SECTION 7205 OF THE SANTA ANA ~JNICIPAL CODE R~LATING TO E~_rVEWAY PER, TS. ..... THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. That Section 7205, subsection C., subsection (c), shall be amended to read as follows: (c) Over 25.00 feet in width $10.00 Naxiamm permitted width ~0.00 feet (over ~0.00 feet must have Council approval) SECTION 2: That an additie~al section shall be added to Article VII, Chapter 2, as follows: SECTION 7216: The Director of Public Works may not issue a permit for a driveway unless the following conditions are met: A, The driveway may not encroach upon a cur~ return that has a radius of 22.00 feet er less. The driveway may net encroach more than 5.00 feet upon a surb return that has a radius greater tham 22.00 feet. B. The driveway must not be located closer than 22.00 feet measured along the curb from an~ existing or proposed driveway entering a parcel of land under a single ownership. C. The maximma D-~er of driveways permitted to a parcel of land under a single ownership shall be determfned by the width of the lot frontage on the street as follows: Width of Property fronting on street u~der sin=lc o~nershin. (a) Less than 50.99 feet (b) 51.O0 feet to 199.99 feet (c) BOo.on feet to 359.99 feet (d) 360.00 feet to 519.99 feet (e) Over 520.00 feet ts 659.99 feet (f) Over 667.00 feet NaximumNo. of One Two Three Four Five Six Do The maximum frontage cf a lot permitted to be a driveway shall be 50 percent. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date ef its adoption.
