NS-3Pl A~vIENDING SECTIONS 9211 AND 9212 <br />OF THE SANCTA ANA NUNIC!PAL CODE REGULATING NA~uFACTURIN~ <br />DISTRICTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after public hearings, the Planning Commission has <br /> <br />recommended the following amendments to Chapter 2 of Article IX <br /> <br />of the Santa Ana ?~nicipal Code, the zoning regulations of the City <br /> <br />of Santa Ana, and the City Council has regularly held a public hear- <br /> <br />lng <br /> <br />thereon, as required by law; <br /> COUN.CIL <br /> NOW, T~LEP~EFORE, ~HE CITY/0F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Sections 9211 and 9212 of Chapter 2 of <br />Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code are hereby amended to <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 9211. M-1 (Manufacturing District) <br /> Uses Permitted <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Any use except those specifically prohibited herein, <br />the primary function of which use is the processing, <br />treatment, manufacturing, assembling, compounding <br />or storage of muy material or equipment. <br /> <br />(b) ~l~ne follmwi~g actions are expressly prohibited: <br /> <br /> 1. Abattoir (except poultry dressing for retail sales <br /> from premises) <br /> 2. Auto wrecking <br /> liAsphalt, mixing, refining and storage plants <br /> Absorption plants <br /> Bag manufacturing and cleaning <br /> 6. Blast furnace <br /> 7. Boiler works <br /> 8. Bunkers, rock and/or sand <br /> 9. Coke ovens <br /> 10. Cooperage works <br /> ll. Cordage mills <br /> 12. Creosote storage or m~ufacturing <br /> iii C~ude °il handling, and/°r transshipping <br /> D~stillation of coal, wood or bone <br /> Distillation of liquor or spirits <br /> Fat rendering <br /> 17. Fertilizer works <br /> 18. Foundries <br /> 19. Fur or Hide curing and tanning <br /> 20. Garbage incineration, reduction or du~nping (private) <br /> 21. Incineration, cor~ercial <br /> 22.
