ORDINANCE NO. NS-399 <br /> <br />AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA <br /> <br />ANA NUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS ON <br />ANEND~ENT APPLICATION NO. 280 AND TO AMEND SECTIONAL DIS- <br />TriCT MAP 9-5-10, EXHIBIT B <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission duly held a public hearing <br />on notice, on Amendment Application No. 280, and recorm~ended the <br />reclassification of property and amendment of Sectional District <br />I~ap affecting property at the Southeast corner of Fifth and Verano <br />Streets; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has regularly held a public hearing <br />on notice, on the question of said a~endments, and does now find <br />that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the <br />following amendments, and that the uses under the new classifica- <br />tion will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE~ T~E CITY COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF S~NTA A~A DOES <br />0RDA~N AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Sau ta Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, bounded on the South by a <br />line 205 feet South of au d parallel to the center line of Fifth <br />Street; bounded on the East by a line 190 feet East of and parallel <br />to the center line of Verano Street; and bounded on the West and <br />North respectively, by Verano Street and Fifth Street, is hereby <br /> <br />reclassified from the R-1 District to the <br />Sectional District Nap 9-5-10, Exhibit B, <br />said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
