N$-4~, A~,~IENDING ARTIQLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA ~.IUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION 0N A~'I~LI- CATION NO. 298 AI.~D TO A~.~EkrD SECTIONAL DISTRICT ~P 28-5-10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with amendment application No. 298, initiated by said Commission, and recommended the change in district classification hereinbelow set out; and ~HEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amen~aent, and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F S~TA ANA DOES ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. That the real property in the C~y of Santa Aha, County of Orange, Caltfonuia, bounded on the East by Harbor Boule- vard, on the South by Talbert Avenue, on the ~est by the Southeast- erly right of way line of the Santa ~uaRiver Channel, and on the North by the North $ity Limits of the City of Santa Ana which run approximately as follows: Beginning at a ooint on the %Vest line of Harbor Boulevard, which is 1~0 fe~t North of the North line of Talbert Avenue; running thence West 1~00 feet; thence ~orth 990 feet; thence ~est 960 feet more or less to the Southeast- erly right of way line of the Santa Aha River Channel, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 to the N-1 District, and Section- al District Nap 28-~-10 is hereby ~uended to show said reclassifica- tion. SECTION 2. This 0rdinamce shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its ado~ ion.
