N~-~37 APPlaUDING ARTICLE IX OF ~ SANTA ANA <br />NYGNICIPAL CODE' TO CHAh~E DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON ANEN~- <br />~ENT APPLICATION NO. 306 FILED BY THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA <br />EDISON COMPANY AND AI~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT NAP 17-5-9 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly held a public hearing <br />on notice, and recommended the changes in district classification <br />hereinbelow set out; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require the following amendments, and that the <br />uses under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surroundi~ property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THE~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter <br /> of Section l?, Township 5 South, Raage 9 West, in the land al- <br /> lotted to N. 0. Stafford and C. Tustin in Decree of Partition <br /> of the Rancho S~ntiago de Santa Ana recorded in Book "B" of <br /> Judgments of the l?th Judicial District Court of Los Angeles <br /> County, located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br /> State of California, described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section l?; thence <br /> East 423.50 feet; thence North 990.00 feet, parallel with the <br /> West line of said Section, to the center line of NcFadden <br /> Street; thence West 42 .50 feet to the West line of said Section; <br /> thence South 990.00 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> EXCEPT the North 2~.00 feet thereof included within NcFadden <br /> Street and the West 25.00 feet thereof included within ~cClay <br /> Street, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the ~-l District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Nap 17-5-9 is amended to <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
