ORDINANCE NO. ~1 DECLARING THE A~TION OF <br />THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "MEMORY LANE AND <br />BAKER NORTH NO. 2 ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEreAS, the city council of the City of Santa Ana did, on <br />March 21, 1960, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 60-50, which said Resolution was regu- <br />larly published as required by law, and gave~due notice of a public <br />hearing to be held May 2, 1960, which said hearing was regularly <br />held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds there was no <br /> <br />protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that <br /> <br />due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said <br /> <br />territory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 60-50 <br /> <br />was adopted initiating this procedure; that said territory is con- <br /> <br />tiguous to the City of Santa Aha and that said territory shall not <br /> <br />be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time <br /> <br />of this annexation. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot 14 of Ports <br />Borden and Sidwell Tract, as per map recorded in Book 4, <br />Page 624 of Miscellaneous Records in the Office of the <br />County Recorder of Los Angeles County, 538.00 feet Westerly <br />from the Southeast corner of said Lot 14, said point of be- <br />ginning being a point on the City boundary of the City of <br />Santa Aha, California, and running thence Westerly along <br />the South line of said Lot 14, and along said City boundary, <br />and along the survey center line of Memory Lane, 50.00 feet <br />to an angle point in said City boundary; thence Northerly <br />along said City boundary 202.00 feet to an angle point in <br />said City boundary; thence Westerly along said City bound- <br />ary 150.00 feet to an angle point in said City boundary; <br />thence Northerly, departing from said City boundary along <br />a line parallel with the East line of said Lot 14, 398.00 <br />feet; thence Easterly along a line parallel with the South <br />line of said Lot 14, 352.00 feet; thence Southerly along a <br />line parallel with said East line of Lot 14, 398.00 feet to <br /> <br /> <br />
