ORDINANCE NO. NS-~60 ~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SAN~£A ANA ~UNIC'IPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI- <br />FICATION ON ~4ENDME~ APPLICATION NO. 311 AND <br />~Z~NDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT ~P 11-5-10 <br /> <br /> k~EREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing, on <br />notice, on Amendment Applica~on No. 311 filed by Greschner-Rabec, <br />a partnership, and has recommended the changes here±nbelow set out; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council duly held a public hearing,on <br />notice, and does now find that public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br />Now, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. ~fhat the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> ~he Southerly 202 feet of the Westerly 150 feet of the <br />Easterly 560 feet of the real property in the County of <br />Orange, State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point in the center line of First Street <br />in the City of Santa Ana, which said point is distant Easterly, <br />measured along said center line 410.56 feet from the inter- <br />section of said center line of First Street with the center <br />line of Sullivan Street and running thence from said point <br />of beginning Northerly, parallel with said center line of <br />Sullivan Street, 602.32 feet to a point in the South line <br />of that certain tract of land described in Deed to Ernest <br />G. Amling and Paul F. Amling, recorded in Book 393, Page 90 <br />of Deeds, Orange County, California, said South line being <br />the Westerly extension of the center line of Third Street in <br />the City of Santa Ana; thence Easterly along said extension <br />of the center line of ~l~ird Street 1054.00 feet to a point, <br />being the Northwest corner of a certain tract of land <br />described as Parcel 1 in the deed to Evelyn M. Trueblood and <br />Benjamin H. Trueblood, husband and wife, recorded on April 29, <br />1946 in Book 1332, Page 410 of Official Records; thence <br />Southerly, parallel with the center line of Sullivan Street <br />and along the Westerly line of the tract so conveyed to Evelyn <br />M. Trueblood and Benjamin H. Trueblood, 602.32 feet to a point <br />in the center line of First Street; thence Westerly along the <br />center line of First Street, 1054.00 feet to the point of <br />beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the C-1 District, <br /> <br />and Sectional Map 11-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassifi- <br /> <br />cation. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
