ORDINANCE NO. NS..~70 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA'MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI- <br />FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 316 AND AMENDING <br />SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 11-5-10 (EXHIBIT 316 B) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br /> <br />held a public hearing on ~endment Application No. 316 initiated by <br /> <br />said Commission, and recommended the changes in District classifi- <br /> <br />cation hereinbelow set out; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the <br />use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, bounded as follows: <br /> <br />parcel 1. On the East by Townsend Street, on the South by <br /> First Street, on the West by a line parallel to and <br /> distant 540 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from <br /> the centerline of Townsend Street, and on the North by a <br /> line parallel to and distant 602.32 feet Northerly, <br /> measured at right angles from the surveyed centerline of <br /> First Street, <br /> <br />Parcel 2. On the East by a line parallel to and distant <br /> 750 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from the <br /> centerline of Townsend Street, on the South by First <br /> Street, on the East by a line parallel to and distant <br /> 1364 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from the <br /> centerline of Townsend Street, and on the North by a line <br /> parallel to and distant 232 feet Northerly, measured at <br /> right angles from the surveyed centerline of First Street, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the M-1 and C-1 Districts to the C-2 <br /> <br />District as shown on Sectional District Map 11-5-10 (Exhibit 316 B), <br /> <br />and said Sectional District Map is hereby amended to show said <br /> <br />reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from <br />and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
