ORDINANCE NO. NS-~8 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 330 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT 330 C) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 330, initiated by Alban and Bernadine Holtz, and recommended the changes in District classification hereinbelow set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public.hearing on said question and does now find that public necessity, conven- ience and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFOP~E, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: A triangular shaped parcel beginning at a point where the centerline of Washington Place intersects the centerline of Grand Avenue; thence Southerly along the centerline of Grand Avenue for a distance of approximately 219 feet to the Northerly boundary of the Santa Ana Freeway; thence Northwesterly, continuing along the Northerly boundary of the Santa Ana Freeway for a distance of approximately 420 feet to the centerline of Washington Place; thence Easterly along the centerline of Washington Place for a distance of approximately 371 feet to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District as shown on Sectional District Map 7-5-9 (Exhibit 330 C), and said Sectional District Map is hereby amended to show said reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption. -1-
