ORDIIf~i~CE NO. ]~,~,4{,8~ DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN ..TERRITORY DESIGNATED "DELHI AND RAITT S. E. ANNEX" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, on November 7, 1960, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 60-217, which said Resolution was regu- larly published as required by law, and gave due notice of a public hearing to be held December 19, 1960, which said hearing was regu- larly held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 60-217 was adopted initiating this procedure; that said territory is con- tiguous to the City of Santa Ana and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Commencing at a point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California, said point being the Southeast corner of Lot 10 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30, Page 14 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California, and running thence South 88° 45' 18" West along the South line of said Lot 10 a distance of 203 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing South ~$o 45' 15" West a distance of 726 feet, more or less, to the Southeast corner of Tract Number 3679, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Bo~ 132, Pages 4,5, and % of ~liscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California and to an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana; thence North 1° 00' 10" West al6ng said City boundary and along the East line of said Tract Number 3679 and its Northerly prolonga- tion a distance of 1220 feet, more or less, to the North line of that certain parcel of land described in a Lis Pendens in Case Number 36224, Recorded in Bo~ 5066, Pages 384 and 335 Official Records of said Orange County; thence -1-
