ORDINANCE NO. NS-~Ol PREZONING PROPERTY WITHIN <br />THE PROPOSED "DEODAR AND SEVENTEENTH N. W. ANNEX" <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH A~MENDMENT 339 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment No. 339, initia~gd by said <br />Commission, to prezone certain territory in the "Deodar and Seven- <br />teenth N. W. Annex", which area is generally located in the County of <br />Orange on the Northwest corner of West Seventeenth and Deodar Streets. <br />and is presently classified as a County RP District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended, in accordance <br />with Sections 9224 and 9225 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, that <br />Sectional District l~iap 4-5-9 (Exhibit AA 339 A) be adopted prezoning <br />the area included in this Annexation as a P District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />said question and does now find that public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require the adoption of the prezoning ~ereinabove <br />designated, and that the use under the new classification will not <br />be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOPdE, THE CI~fY COU~tCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AILA <br /> <br />DOES Oi~DAIi~ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SEC'i'IO~ 1. ~£~nat the real property in the County of Orange, <br /> <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the point of intersection of a line parallel <br />with and 25.00 feet North, measured at right angles, from the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street, with the North extension <br />of the East line of the West half of Lot Number 5 of the <br />Felipe Yorba Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in <br />Book 4, Page 206, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, <br />California, said point of beginning being an angle point in <br />the city boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California; and <br />running thence West along said_parallel line and along said <br />Santa Aha City boundary 152.00 feet more or less to its inter- <br />section with the Southerly extension of a line which is paral- <br />lel with and 10.00 feet East, measured at right angles, from <br />the West line of Lot 4, in Tract Number 1031~ as shown on a <br />map thereof recorded in Book 33, Page 43, ~4iscellaneous Maps, <br />Records of Orange County, California; thence North, departing <br />from said Santa Aha City boundary, along said line parallel <br />with the West line of said Lot 4, and its extension 100.00 <br />feet; thence East parallel with the North line of said Lot 4 <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
