ORDINANCE NO. NS-502 ~iENDING AR~£ICLE IX OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MU~ICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMEND~ENT APPLICATION NO. 340, <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT I4AP 2-3-10 <br />(EXI{IBIT AA 340 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 340, ~ by <br />said ~ for a change of District classification from an R-1 <br />District to a C-5 District,~ and said Commission has recommended <br />approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br /> <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general <br /> <br />welfare require the following amendment, and that the use under the <br /> <br />new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CI'fY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA~ DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1. Beginning at a point where the center line of <br />Trask Avenue intersects the center line of Berrydale Street, <br />thence Easterly along the centerline of Trask Avenue for <br />a distance of approximately 253 feet; thence Southerly along <br />a line parallel to the center line of Berrydale Street for a <br />distance of approximately 240 feet; thence Westerly along a <br />line parallel to the center line of Trask Avenue for a dis- <br />tance of approximately 2~3 feet to the center line of <br />Berrydale Street; thence Northerly along the center line of <br />Berrydale Street to the point of beginning; <br /> <br />Parcel 2. Beginning at a point on the center line of Berry- <br />dale Street which is located approximately 398.32 feet <br />Northerly from the point where the center lane of Berrydale <br />Street intersects the centerline of Twenty-First Street; <br />thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Twenty-First Street for a distance of 2~3 feet, <br />more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Berrydale Street for a distance <br />of 19~.I~ feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Twenty-First <br />Street for a distance of 2~3 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of Berrydale Street; thence Northerly along the <br />center lane of Berrydale Street for a distance of 19S.1~ feet, <br />more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District as <br /> <br />shown on Sectional District Map 2-5-10 (Exhibit AA 340 A), and said <br /> <br />Sectional District ~4ap is hereby amended to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
