ORDINANCE NO. NS-518 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI- FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 350 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 15-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 350 A) WHEREAS, the Planning C~umission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 350, initiated by Sachio and Masako Nakamura, for a change of District classification from the A-1 District to the C-2 District, and said C~nmission has rec~,uuended approval of saidAmendment Application; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: The North half of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter and the North half of the West 10 acres of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas, County of Orange, State of California, as said section is indicated on a Map recorded in Book 51, Page 12 of Miscel- laneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, excepting the Westerly 300 feet thereof, is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the C-2 District, and Sectional District Map 15-5-10 (Exhibit AA 350 A) is hereby amended to show said reclassification. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of June , 1961. ATTEST: -1-
