ORDINANCE NO. N$-~22 ENACTING SECTION 8304 OF CHAPTER 3 OF ARTICLE VIII OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE AMENDMENT TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE ELECTRICAL CODE~ KNOWN AS "ORANGE COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE ELECTRICAL CODE OF Z959", ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. NS-~493 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA/DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Section 8304 of Chapter 3, Article Vli~ of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby enacted to read as follows: Section 8304. Electrical code - Amendments. me That subsection E of Section 8 of the Administrative Electrical Code of the City of Santa Ana is hereby emended to read as follows: Electric wiring installed in or on structures identified by the Uniform Building Code under "A" to "H" Occupancies, inclusive (See Table of Groups of Occupancies in Section 7~. The electric wiring enclosures shall be approved metal raceways. That Subsection D-9 of SeCtion 10 of said Administrative Electrical~Code of the City of Santa Aha is hereby emended to read as follows: D-9 o Relocated buildings shall conform to the minimum standards as required in this Ordinance for new buildings. EXCEPTION: Group "H" and "I" Occupancies excepted from requirements herein subject to approval of Electrical Inspector. e That Subsection A of Section 13 of said Administrative Electrical Code of the City of Santa Aha is hereby emended to read as follows: Electric Wiring Installed or On Structures Identified by the Uniform Building code Under "A" to "H" Occupancies Inclusive. See Table of Groups Of Occupancy in Section 7. Electric wiring enclosures shall be approved metal raceways. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
