ORDINANCE NO. NS-526 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION <br />OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SANTIAGO <br />AND VIRGINIA EAST ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did, on <br />J~ne 5, 1961, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 61-143, which said Resolution was regu- <br />larly published as required by law, and gave due notice of a public <br />hearing to be held July 17, 1961, which said hearing was regularly <br />held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law. <br /> <br />NOW, THERY~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA DNA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds there was no pro- <br /> <br />test to the annexation of the territory herein described; that due <br /> <br />notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri- <br /> <br />tory was uninhabited at the time petition for annexation was filed <br /> <br />and at the time said Resolution No. 61-143 was adopted; that said <br /> <br />territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha and that said terri- <br /> <br />tory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing <br /> <br />at the time of this annexation. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary <br />line of the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of <br />California, as established by Ordinance No. NS-241, said <br />point being also the intersection of the east line of <br />Santiago Street (60 feet wide) with the North line of <br />Section 6, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, S.B.M.; thence <br />along said City boundary line and along said East line, <br />North 0° 05' 50" East, 178.06 feet, to the Southwest <br />corner of Parcel 2 of land described in a deed to the <br />County of Orange recorded January 10, 1936, in Book 800, <br />Page 154, Official Records of said Orange County; thence, <br />continuing along said santa Aha City boundary line, and <br />leaving, said East line, and along the Southeasterly line <br />of said Parcel 2, North 64° 49' 50" East, 716.95 feet, to <br />an angle point therein; thence, continuing along said <br />Southeasterly line and along said Santa Aha City boundary <br />line, North 71° 20' 50" East, 189.95 feet, to the West <br />line of the land described in a lease to the County of <br />Orange, recorded in Book 853, Page 450, Official Records <br />of said Orange County; thence, along last mentioned West <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
