ORDINANCE NO. ..~S-$29 AMENDING PREZONING OF <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY PREZONED BY ORDINANCE NO. NS-498 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. NS-498, <br /> <br />Council of the city of Santa Ana on the 6th day of February, <br />prezoned certain property contiguous to, but not annexed to, <br />City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />passed and adopted by the City <br /> 1961, <br /> the <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning COAL,~ission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 357, initiated by <br />D. E. Liggett, for a change of District classification fr~ the <br />60-A1-7200 District to the 60-R1-7200 District and the 50-R1~6000 <br />District for certain property ehat was prezoned, and said Commission <br />has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on <br />notice, on said question and does now find that the public necessity, <br />convenience and general welfare require the adoption of the amendment <br />to the prezoning heretofore designated, and that the use under the <br />new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the County of Orange, <br /> <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Lincoln Avenue <br />located approximately 165 feet Northerly from the point <br />where the center line of Lincoln Avenue intersects the <br />center line of Virginia Avenue; thence Westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara <br />Avenue for a distance u~ i~19.8 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of Santiago Avenue; thence Northerly along the <br />center line of Santiago Avenue for a distance of 265 feet, <br />more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Grovemont Street for a <br />distance of 89 feet, more or less; thence Easterly and <br />Northeasterly for a distance of 158 feet, more or less, to <br />a point located approximately 154 feet Easterly from the <br />center line of Santiago Avenue; thence Westerly for a <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
