ORDINANCE NO. NSts~2 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION <br />OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "TWeNTY-FIRST <br />AND LYON N.W. ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did, on <br />June 19, 1961, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 61-149, which said Resolution was regu- <br />larly published as required by law, and gave due notice of a public <br />bearing to be held August 7, 1961, which said bearing was regularly <br />held on said notice and on mailed notices as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds there was no <br />protest to the annexation of the territory herein described; that due <br />notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri- <br />tory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 61-149 was <br />adopted initiating this proceeding; that said territory is contiguous <br />to the City of Santa Ana and that said territory shall not be taxed <br />to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this <br />annexation. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Northwest corner of Tract Number 3741, <br /> as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 136, Pages 43 <br /> and 44, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, <br /> California, said point being North 00° 02' 00" East 1055.73 <br /> feet from the intersection of the center lines of Wright <br /> Street and Sevgnteenth Street, as shown on said map of <br /> Tract Number 3741, said point also being an angle point in <br /> the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha, california~ as <br /> described in Ordinance NS-490; running thence North 00v 02' <br /> 00" East along said City boundary as described in Ordinance <br /> NS-73 a distance of 528.00 feet; thence departing from said <br /> City boundary North 89° 55' 21" East 829.46 feet; thence <br /> South 00° 01' 55" East 528.00 feet to the Northeast corner <br /> of said Tract Number 3741 and to an angle point in said <br /> city boundary as described in said ordinance NS-490; thence <br /> South 89° 57' 21" West 830.06 feet along the North line of <br /> said Tract 3741 and along said City boundary to the point <br /> Of beginning, <br /> <br />be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana and to <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
