ORDINANCE NO. NS-5~5 ADDING SECTION 3311.7 TO <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING UNITED <br />STATES GOVERNMENT RECRUITER PARKING METER HOODS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the Santa Aha Municipal Code is hereby amended <br /> <br />by adding thereto a new Section in words and figures as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 3311.7. Special U.S. Recruiter Hood Issuance <br /> <br /> United States Government Recruiting Officer in charge of any <br />Recruiting Office located in a building in front of which <br />parking is regulated by meters may apply to the Chief of Police <br />for a permit to use a parking meter hood or hoods in front of <br />or near said Recruiting Office, and shall furnish such <br />information on the application as said Chief may require. ~he <br />Chief of Police shall determine the number of hoods which shall <br />be issued and shall forward his approval to the Director of <br />Finance, who shall issue a numbered permit for each hood <br />approved without any charge or deposit for hoods to accompany <br />the permits. <br /> <br /> Each permit shall be marked for use with United States <br />Government owned Armed Forces Recruiting Vehicle only, and said <br />hood shall not be valid and may be picked up and permit revoked <br />if used with any other vehicle and for the reasons specified in <br />Subsections (c), (e), (g), (h) or (i) of Section 3311.4. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
