ORDINANCE NO. N8~540 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 361 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 11-5-10 AND <br />12-5-10 (EXHIBITS AA 361 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 361, initiated by <br />said Commission for a change in District classification from the R-1 <br />and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on <br />notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />ORDAIN <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1. Beginning at a point where the center line of <br />Bristol Street intersects the center line of Eighth Street <br />thence Easterly along the center line of Eighth Street for <br />a distance of 120 feet, more or less; thence Southerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Bristol Street for a distance of 145 feet, more or less; <br />thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 50 feet, <br />more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance <br />of 196 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Eighth Street <br />for a distance of 20 feet, more or less; thence Southerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Bris~l Street for a distance of 200 feet, more or less; <br />thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 20 feet, more <br />or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 139 <br />feet, more or less, to the center line of Sixth Street; thence <br />Westerly along the center line of Sixth Street for a distance <br />of 130 feet, more or less, to that point where the center line <br />of Sixth Street intersects the center line of Bristol Street;' <br />thence Northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for <br />a distance of 685 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning; <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
