ORDINANCE NO. N~-Sh3 ~MENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI- <br />FICATION ON ~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 362 AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 (EXt~IBIT AA 362 C) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, .the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 362, initiated by <br />R. G. HOLCOMB for a change in District classification from the R-1 <br />District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />that the change in District classification be from the R-1 District <br />to the R-3H District (which said R-3H District is a more restrictive <br />classification than the C-2 District); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on <br />notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of First Street <br />located 250.8 feet, more or less, Westerly from the point <br />where the center line of First Street intersects the center <br />line of Tustin Avenue; thence Westerly along the center line <br />of First Street for a distance of 236.94 feet, more or <br />less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 619.38 <br />feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approxi- <br /> mately parallel to the center line of First Street for a <br />distance of 236.94 feet, more or less; thence Southerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Tustin Avenue for a distance of 619.05 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-3H District, <br /> <br />and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit AA 362 C) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
