ORDINANCE NO. NSEC3 ESTABLISHING AND MODIFYING <br />HEIGHT LIMITATION DISTRICTS; PROVIDING REGULATIONS <br />APPLICABLE THERETO AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9230.2, <br />9230.22, 9230.42, 9230.62, 9230.83, 9230.103, <br />9230.142, 9230.183, 9230.203, 9230.223, 9230.243, <br />9230.263, 9230.283, 9230.303, 9230.325, 9230.343 <br />AND 9242 OF PARTS 3 AND 4 OF CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE IX <br />OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly held a public hearing <br />on notice concerning proposed amendments to the Santa Aha Municipal <br />Code (which said amendments are to be to those Sections of said Code <br />known as the "Zoning Ordinance of 1960"); said proposed amendments <br />provide for the establishment and modification of Height Limitation <br />Districts together with regulations and requirements therefor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the adoption <br />of said amendments to the Santa Aha Municipal Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the adoption of the following amendments to <br />said Code. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 9230.2 of Part 3, Chapter 2, of <br />Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 9230.2. Buildinq Heiqht. <br /> <br /> No structure shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet in height. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That Section 9230.22 of Part 3, Chapter 2 of <br />Article IX of said code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 9230.22.
