ORDINANCE NO. NS-536 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 359 ANDAMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 359 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 359, initiated by JAMES A. LUKENS, FLORENCE B. LUKENS, and THRIFTIMART, INC., for a change in District classification from the C-1 and R-1 Districts to the C-4 District, and said Commission has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: County SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point where the center line of Edinger Street intersects the center line of Bristol Street; thence Southerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 650 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger Street for a distance of 818.14,feet more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 649.44 feet, more or less, to the center line of Edinger Street; thence Easterly, continuing along the center line of Edinger Street for a distance of 818.14 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the C-1 and R-1 Districts to the C-4 District, and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 359 A) is hereby amended to show said reclassification. 8~EONA~D ~TSDd]h~a~he ~a~lC~akeieffect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption. -1-
