ORDINANCE NO. NS-556 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ARA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 368 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 12-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA-368B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Ccm%mission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 368, initiated by <br />W. F. CRODDY for a change in District classification from the R-1 <br />District to the C-1 District, and said Commission has recommended that <br />the change in District classification be from the R-1 District to the <br />R-lB District (which said R-lB District is a more restrictive classi- <br />fication than the C-1 District); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the centerline of Louise Street <br />located 163 feet, more or less, Southerly from the point <br />where the centerline of Louise Street intersects the <br />centerline of Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the centerline of <br />Seventeenth Street for a distance of 354.3 feet, more or <br />less, to the centerline of Baker Street; thence Southerly <br />along the centerline of Baker Street for a distance of <br />60 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the centerline of Seventeenth <br />Street for a distance of 179.6 feet, more or less; thence <br />Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />centerline of Louise Street for a distance of 15.feet, <br />more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the centerline of Seventeenth Street for a <br />distance of 174.61 feet, more or less, to the centerline <br />of Louise Street; thence Northerly along the centerline <br />of Louise Street for a distance of 75 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, <br /> <br />and Sectional District Map 12-5-10 (Exhibit AA 368B) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
