SECTION 3293.1. Same. Resolution Effect. <br /> <br /> Any and all Resolutions passed and adopted by the Council <br />pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter, and pursuant to <br />the provisions of the Vehicle Code, affecting subjects covered <br />by this Chapter, shall be deemed to be a part of this Chapter, <br />and any violations of any of the provisions of any such <br />Resolution shall be deemed to be a violation of this Chapter, <br />to the same effect as if said Resolution were fully set out <br />herein. <br /> <br />SECTION 3294. Effect of Requlations Upon State Hiqhways. <br /> <br /> Any provision of Article III, Chapters 2 and 3, of this <br />Code which regulates traffic or delegates the regulation of <br />traffic upon State Highways in any way for which the approval <br />of the State of California Department Of Public Works is <br />required by State law, shall cease to be operative six (6) <br />months after receipt by the City Council of written notice of <br />withdrawal of approval of the Department of Public Works of <br />the State of California. <br /> <br /> Whenever said Chapters 2 and 3 delegate authority to a <br />City officer, or authorize action by the City Council to <br />regulate traffic upon a State Highway in any ~y which, by <br />State law, requires the prior approval of the State Department <br />of Public Works, no such officer shall exercise such authority <br />nor shall such action by the City Council be effective with <br />respect to any state Highway without the prior approval in <br />writing of the State Department of Public Works when and to <br />the extent required. <br /> <br />SECTION 3295. Notice to Council of Traffic Control Chanqes. <br /> <br /> The City Manager shall submit to the Council a summary of <br />traffic control changes performed in accordance with <br />Sections 3232.3, 3238.1, 3238.2, 3261.2, 3263 (a) and (b), <br />3265.1 and 3268.2 of this Code. Said s~nmary shall be submitted <br />prior to each regular Council meeting and shall specify the <br />nature and location of traffic control changes made subsequent <br />to the previous report. <br /> <br />SECTION 3296. Previous Resolutions. <br /> <br /> Any resolutions passed prior to the adoption 6f this <br />Chapter affecting Sections dealing with curb markings, parking <br />restrictions, stop signs, or crosswalks, shall remain in effect <br />notwithstanding the repeal or amendment of any Section of this <br />Code by this amendment of Chapter 2. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
