ORDINANCE NO. NS-564 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGEr~STRICT CLASSI- <br />FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 372 AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5~10 (EXHIBIT <br />AA 372 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 372, initiated by <br />said Commission, for a change in District classification from the <br />R3 District to the C5 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />the change in District Classification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point where the center line of St. Gertrude <br />Place intersects the center line of Bristol Street; thence <br />Westerly along the center line of St. Gertrude Place for a <br />distance of 180 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol <br />Street for a distance of 135 feet, more or less; thence <br />Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of St. Gertrude Place for a distance of 180 feet, more <br />or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence <br />Southerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a <br />distance of 135 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R3 District to the C5 District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 372 A) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
