ORDINANCE NO. NS-565 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 373 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 373 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 373, initiated by <br />JEROME G. GOCH for a change in District classification from the R1 <br />District to the R2 and C5 Districts, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended the change in District classification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classificatio~will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That real property in the City of Santa Ana County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Edinger Avenue <br />located 818.14 feet, more or less, Westerly from the point <br />where the center line of Edinger Avenue intersects the <br />center line of Bristol Street; thence Southerly along a <br />line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol <br />Street for a distance of 252 feet, more or less; thence <br />Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 149.2 feet, <br />more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance <br />of 40 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger Avenue <br />for a distance of 353.9 feet, more or less; thence Northerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Bristol Street for a distance of 212 feet, more or less, <br />to the center line of Edinger Avenue; thence Easterly along <br />the center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 502.9 <br />feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the Ri District to the C5 District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (E~hibit AA 373 A) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
