ORDINANCE NO. NS-57~ AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON Ai~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 355 <br />AND A~SENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 355B CORRECTED) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 353, initiated by <br />JESSIE OJEDA for a change in District classification from the R-1 <br />District to the C-5 and R-lB Districts, and said Commission has <br />recommended that the change in District classification be made from <br />the R-1 District to only the C-5 District and for only that property <br />involved for a distance of 265 feet Southerly from the center line <br />of Seventeenth Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hearings on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point where the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street intersects the center line of Mabury Street; thence <br /> Southerly along the center line of Mabury Street for a <br /> distance of 2~5 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along <br /> a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Seventeenth Street for a distance of 415.4 feet, more or <br /> less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Mabury Street for a distance of <br /> 2~5 feet, more or less; to the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street for a distance of 415.4 feet, more or less, to the <br /> point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit AA 35~B Corrected) is hereby <br /> <br />amended to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
