ORDINANCE NO. NS-578 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 383 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 <br />(FD~{IBIT AA 383 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 383, initiatedby <br />CAL-COMPACK FOODS INC. for a change in District classification from <br />the C-2 and A-1 Districts to the M-1 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended that said Amendment Application be approved; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Bolsa <br />Avenue located 990.6 feet, more or less, Easterly from <br />that point where the center line of Bolsa Avenue <br />intersects the center line of Euclid Street; thence <br />Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Euclid Street for a distance of 1319.0 <br />feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa <br />Avenue for a distance of 120 feet, more or less, to the <br />Westerly boundary of the Orange County Flood Control <br />Drainage Channel; thence Northeasterly and Northerly, <br />continuing along the Westerly boundary of said Orange <br />County Flood Control Drainage Channel for a distance <br />of 1349.7 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />Bolsa Avenue; thence Westerly along the center line of <br />Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 330 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the C-2 and A-1 Districts to the M-1 <br /> <br />District, and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 (Exhibit AA 383 A) is <br /> <br />hereby amended to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
