ORDINANCE NO. NS-582 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 389 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP ~-5-9. <br />(EXHIBIT AA 389 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 389, initiated by <br />F. LAVELLE SANDERS for changes in District classifications for two <br />parcels of real property described as: <br /> <br /> Lot No. 3, Tract NO. 1459 - from the R-3 District <br /> <br /> to the C-1 District <br /> <br /> Lot No. 32, Tract No. 1459 -from the R-1 District <br /> <br /> to the R-lB District <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended that only the <br />parcel of real property described as Lot No. 3 of Tract NO. 1459 be <br />changed from the R-3 District to the C-5 District (the C-5 District <br />being a more restrictive classification than the requested C-1 <br />District); and that Lot 32 of Tract 1459 remain in the R-1 District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point On the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street where the center line of Seventeenth Street <br /> intersects the center line of Fairmont Street; thence <br /> Southerly, continuing along the center line of Fairmont <br /> Street for a distance of 174.5 feet, more or less; thence <br /> Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of <br /> 87 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
