ORDINANCE NO. N$-~8~ AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSI- <br />FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 364 AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 6-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 364 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 364, initiated by <br />GEORGE E. and FRIEDA A. HASENYAGER for a change in District classifi- <br />cation from the A-1 District to the R-3 District, and said Commission <br />has recommended that said Amendment Application be denied as requested, <br />but has recommended that the property involved be reclassified from <br />the A-1 District to the R-1 District in accordance with Exhibit <br /> <br />AA 364 B (the R-1 District being a more restrictive classification <br />than the requested R-3 District); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point where the center line of Santa Clara <br /> Avenue intersects the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence <br /> Northerly along the center line of Lincoln Avenue for a <br /> distance of 801.90 feet, more or less; thence Easterly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 795.92 feet, more or <br /> less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Lincoln Avenue for a distance of <br /> ~01.90 feet, more or less, to the center line of Santa <br /> Clara Avenue; thence Westerly along the center line of <br /> Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 795.92 feet, more or <br /> less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 6-5-9 (Exhibit AA 364 B) is hereby amended to <br /> <br />show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
