ORDINANCE NO. NS- ~86 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON A~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 381 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 381 C) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 3Sl, initiated by <br />L. L. and JUANITA C. CONKLE for a change in District classification <br />from the A-1 District to the R-3 ahd C~i Districts; and <br /> <br /> WI{EREAS, at said public hearing of the Planning Con~ission, <br />the applicants requested that the District classification be changed <br />from the A-1 District to the R-4 and C-5 Districts (said R-4 District <br />and C-5 District being more restrictive District classifications than <br />the originally requested R-3 and C-1 Districts); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended that the <br />change in District classification be from the A-1 District to the <br />R-4 District for the entire parcel of property; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general <br />welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the <br />new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding propert5~. <br /> <br />ORDAIN <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE Citify COUA!CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real propertp in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point where the center line of McFadden <br />Avenue intersects the center line of Euclid Street; <br />thence ~ortherlp along the center line of Euclid Street <br />for a distance of 395 feet, more or less, to the Southern <br />boundar~ of the Orange Countl Flood Control District <br />channel; thence Easterly and Northeasterl~ along the <br />Southerly boundary of the Orange County Flood Control <br />District channel for a distance of 550 feet, more or less; <br />thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to <br />the center line of Euclid Street for a distance of <br />506.9 feet, more or less, to the center line of McFadden <br />Avenue; thence Westerl~ alon~ the center line of McFadden <br />Avenue for a distance of 537.6 feet, more or less, to the <br />point of beginning, <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
