ORDINANCE NO. NS -58? AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 390 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 390 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 390, initiated by <br />JESSE and LILLIAN OJEDA for a change in district classification from <br />the R-1 District to the R-4 District, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Mabury Street <br />located 541 feet, more or less, Southerly from that point <br />where the center line of Mabury Street intersects the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street; thence Westerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street for a distance of 415.4 feet, more or <br />less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Mabury Street for a distance of <br />276 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth <br />Street for a distance of 415.4 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of Mabury Street; thence Southerly along the <br />center line of Mabury Street for a distance of 276 feet, <br />more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 8-5-9 (Exhibit AA 390 A) is hereby amended to <br /> <br />show said reclassification. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
