ORDINANCE NO. NS - 590 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO C~ANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 393 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 17-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 393 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 393, initiated by <br />said Comunission for a change in district classification from A-1 <br />District to the R-1 District, and said Cc~unission has recommended <br />approval of saidAmendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />ORDAIN <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Euclid Street <br />located 1318.0 feet, more or less, Northerly frc~ that <br />point where the center line of Euclid Street intersects <br />the center line of Edinger Avenue; thence Westerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger <br />Avenue for a distance of 1340. feet, more or less; thence <br />Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Euclid Street for a distance of 329.5 feet, more or <br />less; thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of <br />1340 feet, more or less, to the center line of Euclid <br />Street; thence Southerly along the center line of Euclid <br />Street for a distance of 329.5 feet, more or less, to the <br />point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 17-5-10 (Exhibit AA 393 A) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
