ORDINANCE NO. NS-593 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 396 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 396 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 396, initiated by <br />said Co~mission for a change in District classification frcau the R-1 <br />District to the C-5 and R-lB Districts, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />pARCEL 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of Bristol <br />Street located 650. feet, more or less, Southerly from that <br />point where the center line of Bristol Street intersects the <br />center line of Edinger Avenue; thence Southerly, continuing <br />along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of <br />439.1 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of St. Andrew Place <br />for a distance of 530 feet, more or less; thence Northerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Bristol Street for a distance of 439.1 feet, more or less; <br />thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of St. Andrew Place for a distance of 530 feet, <br />more or less, to the pOint of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 396 A) is hereby amended to <br /> <br />show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
